Praying For The Missionaries

I don't believe anything happens to Christians by chance. God has a reason for all things. When the Lord brings a missionary or missionary family to your mind, He wants you to pray for them because they may have a need. We need to be sensitive to these things in our lives. Too many times we are too busy when God is trying to get through to us. There are blessings that the Lord has for us if we will only be attuned to Him. Take time to let God lead you and show you what He would have you to do. What a blessing to know that the Lord is in control and that He makes no mistakes.

Remember especially to pray for the missionary's wife and children. I have asked the Lord to let me be an encouragement to them and be sensitive to their needs. So many times, even in our prayer lives, we forget them and their needs. The devil and the world will do anything to destroy the missionary that is doing God's work. Many times the family becomes the target of the attack. Pray that the Lord will use them as a family unit in the work of the Lord.
